DAMA's Youth Development Program invites young people of all backgrounds to step into the mural-making process from start to finish. Our approach isn’t just about painting walls—it’s about building confidence, teamwork, and a sense of purpose. Youth learn job readiness, leadership, and creative skills in a supportive, trauma-informed setting. We adapt our curriculum to each participant, meeting them where they are and helping them envision bigger futures. Every project is a chance for youth to see their work celebrated, their voices heard, and their communities transformed.

We actively seek out youth who have been excluded from arts education, particularly from urban and rural communities facing systemic barriers. Art, for us, is both a tool and a statement: everyone deserves to be seen and to shape their environment.
