DAMA’s Organizational & Corporate Team Building for Social Impact program gives businesses and organizations a chance to unite their teams while making a real difference in the community. Companies can choose from two options:

• On-Site Mural Creation: Host a DAMA-led mural project at your own workplace. Staff members come together to design and paint a mural that reflects the organization’s values, culture, or a social issue the team cares about. DAMA artists guide the process from ideation to completion, ensuring everyone’s voice is included. The end result is a permanent piece of art that inspires collaboration and purpose within your organization.

• Adopt-a-Community or School Mural: Partner with DAMA to “adopt” a local school or community site in Dane County. Your team collaborates with youth, residents, and DAMA artists to co-create a mural that addresses a current societal issue—such as racial equity, mental health, environmental action, or inclusion. This hands-on experience builds empathy, teamwork, and authentic connections across sectors, while leaving a tangible legacy of positive change.

At the heart of this program is the belief that organizations can be powerful agents for social good. By engaging directly with schools and communities, corporate teams help amplify local voices and create art that sparks dialogue and solutions around pressing social issues. Every project supports DAMA’s mission to expand access to art, empower youth, and sustain community transformation.
