DAMA’s K-12 School-Based Program brings collaborative mural-making directly into schools across Madison and Dane County. Students from all backgrounds work together to design and create murals that reflect their unique voices and school community. The process builds teamwork, creative confidence, and a sense of belonging, while integrating art with classroom learning.

Social Justice Component:
We prioritize partnering with schools serving marginalized and under-resourced student populations, using art to elevate student voices, foster cultural pride, and address issues such as equity, identity, and inclusion. Every student has the chance to see themselves reflected in public art and to know their contribution matters.
